Fullerton Observer: Local Researchers Hold FREE Memory Screening for Community on Thursday, May 16

Syrentis Clinical Research will hold a free memory screening event on Thursday, May 16, for people aged 50 and above to increase awareness for early detection of memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease.

In California, it is estimated that more than 690,000 people are currently living with Alzheimer’s Disease, and experts predict that this number will increase dramatically in the near future.

Syrentis Clinical Research will offer a free confidential memory screening event on Thursday, May 16, between 9 am – 12 pm, at the Brea Senior Center at 500 Siervers Ave in Brea offering free parking and light refreshments for attendees.

The 30-minute memory testing for adults ages 50 and older will be conducted in a private setting. After attendees complete the assessment, they meet one-on-one with a health professional who can discuss the results with them and address any questions or concerns they have about their memory. Early detection of memory problems is crucial for more intervention options and better quality of life. It also allows individuals to learn of eligibility to participate in clinical trials to slow the progression of a memory disorder.
