John has led a life of service to others, and continues in that role as he cares for his wife, Jackie, who is living with Alzheimer’s disease. John previously worked as a Deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida with a mission to reduce hunger. When Jackie was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, his helping spirit supported Jackie in participating in a clinical trial to help their children and grandchildren.
The Clincloud Team describes the power couple as a reminder of the potential of the human spirit. In between clinic visits, the couple would travel to Belize, using research funds, to help children in need. John and Jackie brought photos of the children learning about farming as they grew gardens in elementary school yards. John is an exemplary study partner and inspires all who meet him.
