Monique has been a champion for Alzheimer’s disease research for the past 15 years. She has dedicated her life to caring for her father and diligently sought to pursue his wish to contribute to scientific advances toward new treatments and, one day, a cure. Her father’s participation in a study involving surgery and a 1-week hospital stay and as the first trial participant in a different study highlights her dedication to research that goes beyond the typical demands of a study partner in a clinical trial.
