Today, the US Senate confirmed President Biden’s nominee for National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director, Monica Bertagnolli, MD, who will lead the country’s top medical research institute. “We are thrilled that the US Senate has confirmed Dr. Monica Bertagnolli as the new Director of the NIH, as she is an esteemed leader with an impressive career that will guide the Institute forward.”
