Even state boundaries cannot stop Beth from being an exceptional volunteer. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s back in November 2025 where her son and her started looking into clinical trials. They could not find a site close to them that was offering what they were looking for, and so they travel from Maine to New York for their study visits .
It takes a lot of grit and determination with a willingness to help herself and others by traveling and participating in a demanding research trial. The site staff have never seen someone so determined to help the future that they would travel these distances to make a different.
