As the world started shutting down due to COVID-19, Tom stepped up to enroll in a clinical trial at ADMDC at Rhode Island Hospital. He has faithfully attended all his appointments, even with a nearly 60-mile round trip, and has taken all the challenges offered in stride.
Tom has a can-do attitude that has kept the team at RIH focused on the importance of clinical trials during a pandemic where clinical trials were a focal point. He knows that a world where his grandchildren don’t have to worry about Alzheimer’s disease is worth every effort from him, other volunteers, and the RIH staff.
