Lucia’s background includes research in Alzheimer’s Disease with experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Psychometric Rater at a private, high enrolling research site in South Florida. She primarily worked on Phase II and Phase III Alzheimer’s clinical trials. Lucia serves on GAP’s Participant Service (GPS) team as a liaison, who support GAP-Net sites to meet their screening and randomization goals through various strategies including community outreach, physician and community partnerships, and advertising. Liaisons share best practices in GAP-enabled trials and help sites address obstacles as they operationalize studies, including project managing GAP’s mobile unit. She serves sites in central Florida and Georgia. Lucia holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida.
