Ms. Belanger is enthusiastic about attending all events where she can share her experience, passion and belief in the importance of Alzheimer’s research. She independently seeks out opportunities in her community, Shell Point, the largest Continuing Care Retirement Community in the state of FL. She also is a volunteer at the memory unit at the community (called Connected Living) and participates in memory stimulation activities for the residents. She frequently offers ideas and suggestions for educational programs for the general community, particularly effective when participating in health fairs, where she openly discussed her Alzheimer’s diagnosis, the benefits of clinical research.
