Terri has been an absolute light, always bringing excitement to each visit for her her research appointments. Her joy and enthusiasm for research participation is so infectious. As a local ambassador for the Parkinson’s Foundation in her community, she has lead a team for the first annual fundraising walk last September 2024, and sharing her experiences broadly.
Going above and beyond, Terri has always inquired about research opportunities and jumps at the chance to participate in a new program that could help her or others. She approaches everything with gratitude and is an exemplary Citizen Scientist.
“The most rewarding aspect of being a part of a clinical trial is knowing that my being involved could make a difference in the long run. Like many people with Parkinson’s, I believe one day there will be a cure and knowing my participation was part of the cure makes me feel less a victim and more a ‘hero.’”
