Both of Dale’s parents had Alzheimer’s Disease, neither one of them are around anymore. They left behind 5 children and 4 out of the 5 (including him) have been affected by Alzheimer’s Disease. He has lost a few of them to the disease and he has felt compelled to do more. He is the first one out of all of his family members affected to a do a clinical research trial. He wanted to take next steps in finding a cure or treatment of the progression of Alzheimer’s Disease.
