Jack watched what Alzheimer’s disease did to his mother and he is determined to make sure it doesn’t happen to future generations. He convinced all 5 of his siblings to participate in Washington University’s Memory and Aging Project, which observes adult children who are presently unaffected by the disease. He travels 72 miles round trip 25 times a year (about twice a month) for his visits and doesn’t mind it one bit, as long as he helps increase awareness and helps find a cure for AD.
