A retired high school teacher, Mark continues to share his knowledge as he participates in clinical research. With a family history of Alzheimer’s disease he is determined to be a supportive voice in the community, highlighting the positive aspects of research in hopes that his experience will benefit others. He speaks to how participating in research gives him extra healthcare, on top of the education about the disease. Rather than complaints, he always comes in with questions. He is engaged, enthusiastic, and enjoys his time with during his visits.
