When learning she had Alzheimer’s Disease, Patricia maintained a positive outlook. Her grandmother had Alzheimer’s and she remembers how emotional it can be for the patient and the caregiver as well. After her diagnosis, she decided to participate in a demanding study which involves required several onsite infusions and an amyloid PET scan in hopes to help future generations.
Patricia educates the community by letting people know that being diagnosed is not the end. The team at Charter Research admires how Patricia is not letting this diagnosis control her life or actions.
