Patricia has shown remarkable determination in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease. Along with her daughter, Tracy, she has actively participated in research and spoken at the local Walks to End Alzheimer’s. For years, she has been involved with The Villages Dementia Care Group, engaging in brain-stimulating activities like therapy dogs, dance-offs, and glamour shots. These events allow her to form meaningful connections with others affected by dementia. She goes above and beyond, soon to join two additional respite groups to further share her experiences and support others.
