Tom is a passionate advocate for research and has brought several new participants to JEM through his personal outreach. As a devoted caregiver to his wife Judith, he goes above and beyond to support her—he even cataloged her books to avoid duplicates.
The Williamses’ enthusiasm for clinical trials has inspired friends and neighbors to get involved, with some already screened. Known as the “unofficial JEM cheerleader,” Tom regularly refers new participants and helps guide them through the process. His dedication is making a real impact in moving research forward.
