Trish Brown

When Trish Brown first visited a doctor at University of Kansas Med West, she had no idea she was about to begin a years-long journey into Alzheimer’s research. She took a memory test on her doctor’s advice, after which she was invited to join a trial at the University of Kansas Alzheimer’s Disease Center (KU ADC). “I immediately jumped at the opportunity,” Trish says. “I thought that if I participate in these trials, just think how fortunate I would be. I can help myself and other people at the same time. It was an easy decision.” As a KU ADC Ambassador, Trish is a tireless advocate for research, bringing her friends to talks and recruitment events.
