Tyler is a Registered Nurse with experience in clinical research, acute care, public health, and long-term care. Prior to joining GAP, he was recognized for his contributions to decentralized care models and the successful coordination of clinical trial activities.
He serves on GAP’s Inclusive Research Initiative (IRI) team, where Managers of Diversity and Community Outreach (Community Connectors) work to improve representation in clinical trials by supporting GAP-Net sites across Florida. His work includes developing recruitment strategies, delivering Alzheimer’s disease education and awareness, conducting community mapping initiatives, and building partnerships with local organizations serving underrepresented populations.
As part of GAP’s Mobile Research Unit team, Tyler operates a 28’ research RV in communities such as Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. He works closely with African American and Hispanic/Latino populations to reduce barriers to participation and expand access to Alzheimer’s trials.
