Mission Viejo, Aug 12, 2025— Brain health is being taken on the road in Mission Viejo with a Mobile Research Unit that will tour the West Coast to improve accessibility to brain health education and services. The Mobile Research Unit made its debut on August 9 with a ribbon cutting with The Healthy Brain Clinic at the Mount of Olives Day Program as part of a local Health Fair.
“We are excited for the opportunity to help launch this Mobile Research Unit, which will improve access to brain health resources in Mission Viejo,” said Dr. Dung Trinh, Chief Medical Officer of the Healthy Brain Clinic, one of five Irvine Clinical Research network sites. “Brain health education is urgently needed, and bringing information and screening into the community is a fantastic step forward. We’re honored to help kick off the Mobile Research Unit’s first voyage and to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to take charge of their cognitive health and enhance their quality of life.”
“Having a community focused on all aspects of health, be it physical, mental, or spiritual is of the utmost importance to us and we were thrilled to host the Health Fair to provide helpful resources. Our mission is centered around providing an engaging social environment for seniors whose caregivers desire a safe, loving, and caring day. Most of our participants have some form of early to moderate dementia or Parkinson’s Disease, said Gaye Satterfield, Director of Mount of Olives Adult Day Program.”
