Orlando couple, Chuck and Joann Greer, have been volunteering at K2 Medical Research to advance Alzheimer’s Disease Research.
Chuck has a family history of Alzheimer’s disease and, after Chuck and his wife Joann cared for his mother and stepfather they knew they needed to learn more. Chuck was tested and learned he had the protein in his brain known as P Tau, which can indicate a chance of getting Alzheimer’s Disease. With that news, he was eligible to get into a trial for preventative treatments.
His wife, Joann, is a retired nurse and also knew that research was going to be the way forward for them and for future generations.
