Mayra has been committed to helping find a cure or assistance for Alzheimer’s Disease since she was young. Both parents were/been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. Mayra is a great example of what the Hispanic community goes through everyday. Mayra is inspirational as she educates herself and her siblings by expanding their horizons with the resources being offered. Mayra is the perfect Citizen Scientist because she is trying to make a difference in lives around help by seeking help and guidance.
